First saw Hornbills on Pulau Ubin couple of decade ago but now Singapore is probably one of the few places where you can see Hornbills in the city. There is a pair that are probably resident in the Istana grounds. Had seen another one the same morning at Namly Estate.

There again the following sunday. And now the reason why it keeps flying between the shophouses and the fig tree is apparent. It is nesting in one of the trees beside Rex Cinema.
